Miix Community Guidelines

The most important principle underlying the Miix community guidelines is to treat each other with respect. These guidelines help keep our members safe by making it clear what type of conduct is not acceptable, both on and off the platform (e.g. on the app, on a date, at an event, via text message, etc.).

We reserve the right to block a user from ever using Miix services again if they violate any of these guidelines. When necessary, we also may cooperate with law enforcement to assist in potential criminal investigations related to member conduct.

 
Membership Requirements
  • You must be at least 18 years old to join. We reserve the right to ask for identification documents to verify your age.
  • You must currently be single (i.e. not in a romantic relationship) to join.
  • You must be living in the U.S. to join. We will remove this requirement when our app is launched in other countries.
 
Photo & Video Guidelines

Members are prohibited from sending or posting unsolicited photos or videos containing any of the following:

  • Nudity
  • Sexually explicit poses
  • Hate signs or symbols
  • Blood or gore
  • Violence or self-harm
 
Self-Representation Guidelines
  • Catfishing (impersonating someone that you are not) is not allowed.
  • False representation, such as providing extremely outdated or misleading photos on your profile or misrepresenting facts about yourself such as your age or gender, is not allowed.
 
General Behavior Guidelines
  • No selling. We do not allow members to engage in unsolicited commercial or promotional activities of any kind, including attempts to sell, advertise, or buy adult sexual content or controlled substances.
  • No bullying. Belittling or intimidating others is unacceptable in our community.
  • No sexual exploitation or abuse of a child. This includes viewing or distributing sexually suggestive images of children.
  • No violence of any kind. We have a zero-tolerance policy for behavior or content that commits or threatens acts of violence, including forcing any unwanted physical contact.
